Est\u00e1 previsto que este evento se celebre del 23 al 25 de octubre de 2023 en el Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas. En colaboraci\u00f3n con la Uni\u00f3n Europea y CARICOM, la Agencia se asociar\u00e1 con el Gobierno de Bahamas, trabajando en estrecha colaboraci\u00f3n con los equipos del Ministerio de Turismo y Aviaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n<p>Los FIC pretenden alcanzar tres objetivos significativos: (1) Atraer inversiones espec\u00edficas hacia sectores prioritarios, en concreto los esenciales para impulsar la transici\u00f3n de la regi\u00f3n hacia una econom\u00eda m\u00e1s ecol\u00f3gica e inteligente. Estos sectores abarcan la econom\u00eda digital, la agrotecnolog\u00eda, las energ\u00edas renovables y el transporte y la log\u00edstica. (2) Aumentar la visibilidad de la regi\u00f3n y del pa\u00eds anfitri\u00f3n como destinos atractivos para la inversi\u00f3n. (3) Facilitar la creaci\u00f3n de redes y la colaboraci\u00f3n entre la comunidad inversora de la regi\u00f3n, para llegar a acuerdos sobre prioridades clave que aceleren la transici\u00f3n de la regi\u00f3n hacia una econom\u00eda m\u00e1s ecol\u00f3gica e inteligente. El objetivo principal es crear una plataforma para que las empresas se relacionen entre s\u00ed y fomenten nuevas oportunidades de negocio.<\/p>\n\n<p>Tras la CIF inaugural, en 2023 se har\u00e1 hincapi\u00e9 en el empaquetamiento de oportunidades de inversi\u00f3n en los sectores prioritarios identificados y se aprovechar\u00e1n los logros de la CIF inaugural, que tuvo lugar en Trinidad y Tobago el pasado mes de noviembre, para acelerar la misi\u00f3n de la Agencia de crear un Caribe m\u00e1s sostenible desde el punto de vista medioambiental y m\u00e1s avanzado tecnol\u00f3gicamente.<\/p>\n\n<p>CIF 2023 se centrar\u00e1 en ayudar a las empresas a atraer inversiones en estas \u00e1reas clave, incluida la adopci\u00f3n de pr\u00e1cticas de energ\u00eda renovable para mejorar la competitividad y aprovechar la econom\u00eda verde, la integraci\u00f3n de la tecnolog\u00eda en las operaciones comerciales, que abarca las TIC, la digitalizaci\u00f3n de los procesos y FinTech, el desarrollo y la implementaci\u00f3n de la tecnolog\u00eda en la agricultura y el apoyo al objetivo de la CARICOM de reducir la factura de importaci\u00f3n de alimentos de la regi\u00f3n en un 25% para 2025, y la mejora de la infraestructura de la regi\u00f3n en materia de transporte y log\u00edstica.<\/p>\n\n<p>Se prev\u00e9 que la edici\u00f3n de este a\u00f1o supere los logros del a\u00f1o pasado y atraiga a m\u00e1s de 800 profesionales de los negocios que buscan invertir en el Caribe o asegurar la inversi\u00f3n en sus proyectos multimillonarios.<\/p>\n\n<p>Este acontecimiento constituye la principal plataforma para atraer inversiones a la regi\u00f3n y ofrece la oportunidad de mostrar el Caribe como un destino de inversi\u00f3n atractivo con potencial para impulsar un crecimiento transformador.
