Green Climate Fund (GCF)

The Green Climate Fund (GCF) is the world’s largest dedicated climate fund, established to support developing countries in advancing low-emission, climate-resilient development. Through its network of Accredited Entities, GCF finances transformative projects and programmes that address climate mitigation and adaptation, while mobilising public and private investment through instruments such as grants, concessional loans, guarantees, and equity.

Caribbean Export’s accreditation to the GCF marks a significant milestone for the Agency and the region, positioning it to help advance climate finance opportunities that can support private sector development, resilience, innovation, and sustainable growth across the Caribbean. For regional businesses, this creates new opportunities to participate in and benefit from initiatives that strengthen competitiveness, build climate resilience, and unlock access to larger-scale climate finance.
