Institutional Strengthening of CICMC
Caribbean Export was instrumental in the establishment of CICMC from the 2008 signing of an MOU between the organisations and the commissioning of a study titled “Caribbean Management Consulting the ground work/framework for the Agency’s engagement pertaining to the development of the regional management consulting sector in 2010″. Since the signing of the MOU, five chapters have been established in Barbados, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, the Bahamas, OECS (headquartered in St. Lucia), and the OCTs (headquartered in Curacao).
Caribbean Export is supporting the institutional strengthening of CICMC and internationalisation of manangement consultants in the CARIFORUM with the development and training of consultants in ISO20700:2017 Standard: Guidelines for management consulting services. The standard which was created through a collaboration between CMC- Global and ISO, complements the CMC certification and promotes the standards of the profession.
